Role Overview
We are looking for a DFIR Intern (Digital Forensics & Incident Response) to support our cybersecurity team in investigating incidents, analysing forensic evidence, and strengthening our security operations. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience in digital forensics, threat investigation, and real-world incident response in a high-growth cybersecurity company.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in digital forensic investigations, including disk, memory, and log analysis.

Support incident response activities such as triage, evidence collection, and threat identification.

Analyse security alerts, logs, and artifacts from endpoints, servers, and cloud environments.

Research new threats, attack techniques, IOCs, and malware behaviour.

Support the preparation of incident reports, documentation, and case timelines.

Work with VAPT, SOC, and Threat Intelligence teams on cross-functional cybersecurity tasks.

Assist in building automation scripts and internal forensic tools (optional but beneficial).
Required Qualifications & Skills

Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, incident response, or digital forensics.

Familiarity with forensic tools (Autopsy, Volatility, Wireshark, etc.) is a plus.

Understanding of operating system internals (Windows, Linux) and basic networking.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Passion for cybersecurity and willingness to learn DFIR concepts.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related fields.

Hands-on experience in real-world digital forensics and incident response.

Certificate of Internship Completion upon successful conclusion.
